Video: Young Man Strangles His Grandmother's Sister in Abovyan

On December 12 at 09:10, a report was received by the Kotayk division of the police from an ambulance team that a murder had occurred in one of the houses on Kotayk Street in Abovyan.

The operational group from the Kotayk division of the police, which arrived at the indicated address, found that around 04:00, a 78-year-old woman had been strangled in her bedroom by her 25-year-old grandson.

As a result of operational investigative measures, the 25-year-old man was discovered in one of the buildings on Youth Street in Abovyan, arrested on the grounds of reasonable suspicion of committing murder, and presented to the Abovyan investigative division.
