VIDEO: Heavy Rain Floods the Streets of Antalya

Heavy rain in the resort town of Antalya has led to flooding. The intense rainfall has caused streams to overflow, inundating not only the streets of the city but also the ground floors of homes, with reports of roof collapses as well.

The Kumluja province has also suffered significant damage, leading to the suspension of classes in schools due to rising water levels.

“We haven’t seen such a situation in nearly 50 years. We have established a crisis center to manage the situation,” said Kumluja's mayor Mustafa Kolyoglu.

Local media reports have also highlighted the destruction of bridges.
