The Only Road Connecting Artsakh to the World Has Been Closed for 13 Hours

The only road connecting Artsakh to the world has been closed for 13 hours. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh.

“This morning, a group of Azerbaijanis, citing environmental reasons, blocked the Stepanakert-Goris highway in the Shushi-Karin Tak area around 10:30 AM. Hundreds of citizens, including minors, are unable to return home, with some temporarily stranded in the Syunik region.

Transportation links between the villages of Lisagor, Metsi Shen, Hini Shen, and Yeghdzahogh in the Shushi region and the capital Stepanakert have been interrupted. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will provide additional information regarding the developments,” the statement said.
