Kerobyan on Accumulated Armenian Trucks in Lars

In the first ten days of December 2022, a total of 2,037 cargo trucks left Armenia heading towards EAEU countries through Upper Lars, while 2,821 such trucks crossed from Georgia through Upper Lars. This means that the number of Armenian trucks carrying cargo in Georgia has decreased by 800, and currently stands at around 1,700 trucks.

This information was shared by the Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan.

“During this period, around 2,071 trucks carrying cargo from the EAEU entered Armenia, and the queues for the inflow into Armenia are insignificant. The capacity of Upper Lars has increased due to the ongoing expansion works there. According to the data, trucks now spend about six days in Georgia,” wrote Kerobyan on his Facebook page.
