Hungary to Sign Electricity Supply Agreement with Azerbaijan, Involving Georgia and Romania

On December 17, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will sign an agreement for the supply of electricity from Azerbaijan via a submarine cable through the territories of Georgia and Romania to the Black Sea. This was reported by Neftegaz.ru.

On December 12, the press secretary of the Hungarian Prime Minister announced that the signing of the quadrilateral agreement would take place in Bucharest.

The Hungarian news agency MTI reports that Orbán, along with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, as well as European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, will participate in the signing ceremony.
