Donetsk Shelled Again by Grad Rockets

The center of Donetsk has been shelled again using Grad multiple rocket launchers, as reported by RIA Novosti.

The shelling affected the Voroshilov and Kalininsky districts. Mayor Alexey Kuulemzin reported that two buildings of a medical facility were damaged.

In a statement made by the representative office of the Donetsk People's Republic at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination Regarding Military Crimes in Ukraine, it was clarified that at 05:54, Ukrainian forces shelled the Voroshilov and Kalininsky districts from the Tonenkoe settlement, firing 20 missiles from Grad systems.

Ukrainian troops had also shelled the center of Donetsk with Grad rockets the previous day, resulting in one civilian injury and damage to a new planetarium building and two shopping centers.

It is worth recalling that on the early morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a decision to launch a special military operation against Ukraine, following requests for assistance from the LPR and DPR.

Combat actions in Ukraine have now been ongoing for the 289th day.
