State Audit Office Begins Inspections at Ministry of Defense: What are They Looking For?

The State Audit Office has entered the Ministry of Defense of Armenia for inspections.

The Joghourd newspaper reports that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has given clear instructions to the State Audit Office to thoroughly examine specific areas.

It has become known that inspections have already begun in several directions. The employees of the State Audit Office are sifting through the documents of Armenia's defense agency, reviewing various contracts and transfers to understand how the department's operations, prevailing traditions, and existing practices have changed under the new minister.

It should be noted that Minister Suren Papikyan is facing internal accusations within his own team, with false information sometimes being provided to Nikol Pashinyan. There are rumors that part of the campaign against Suren Papikyan is being organized and managed by the Chairman of the National Assembly Committee on Defense and Security, Andranik Kocharyan.
