Kosovo Special Forces Literally Blockade the City of Mitrovica, Says Serbian Official

Kosovo's special forces have invaded the northern region of Serbian Kosovo and Metohija, effectively capturing and blockading the city of Mitrovica. This information was reported by Petar Petkovic, the head of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija under the Serbian government.

He recalled that Kosovo's police forces do not have the right to enter the Serbian-populated northern region without the permission of the mayors of four Serbian municipalities.

Petkovic also added that Belgrade will discuss the return of Serbian security forces to Kosovo and Metohija in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1244.

Earlier, it became known that several explosions occurred in the city of Mitrovica. The alarm signal has been activated in the city.

Unrecognized Kosovo police special forces have carried out the seizure of the Zubin Potok municipal building. According to RT, the forces broke down doors and changed locks.
