VIDEO: 76-Year-Old Man Attacks Son and Daughter-in-Law with Axe

On the afternoon of December 2, information was received by the Masis Police Department that a resident of the village of Argavand had attacked his son and daughter-in-law with an axe. Following the report, an operational group quickly departed for Argavand.

To prevent any further developments, law enforcement arrived at the scene swiftly and found that around 15:20, a 76-year-old man had struck his son, who was sleeping on the couch, with the sharp side of the axe, severing two of his fingers. He then hit his daughter-in-law on the head with the blunt end of the axe. Both victims were hospitalized.

The 76-year-old man was not at home at the time. He was located in the city of Masis and taken to the Masis Investigative Department. Circumstances surrounding the incident are being clarified.
