Under What Conditions Will Armenia Begin Railway Construction? - Pashinyan
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that during a trilateral meeting in Moscow on December 6, attended by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan, the issue of reopening the Yeraskh-Ordubat-Meghri-Horadiz railway was discussed, as announced by Nikol Pashinyan during a question-and-answer session with the government in the National Assembly yesterday.
“I cannot say that we have any concrete results, unfortunately, but I want to reaffirm that the Republic of Armenia is ready and interested in implementing this project, and our proposal remains in effect, and the Republic of Armenia is ready to start the restoration of the railway as soon as possible... Of course, I think it is unnecessary to say our perception that the railway and roads should operate within the framework of the RA legislation. And at any moment, when we formalize this registration on paper, from that moment we are ready to start the work,” Pashinyan stated.
