Russian Defense Ministry on the Situation in Artsakh

On December 8, no incidents were reported in the responsibility zone of the peacekeeping forces operating in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is stated in the report of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“Russian peacekeepers are monitoring the situation and adherence to the ceasefire regime around the clock at 30 observation points. No violations have been registered in the responsibility zone of the Russian contingent,” the report notes.

Patrols have been conducted in three directions: Martuni, Martakert regions, and the Lachin corridor.

It is also noted that continuous cooperation with the general staffs of the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan is maintained to prevent possible incidents.
