President's Salary Increased by 300,000 Dram: How Much Will Other Officials' Salaries Rise?
State officials' salaries will increase starting next year. According to the law on the 2023 State Budget of the Republic of Armenia, the base salary for state and public service officials will rise from 66,140 dram to 83,200 dram in 2023. Consequently, the salary of an official is determined by multiplying the base salary by a coefficient specified by law for that position, thus their salaries will increase as a result of these changes.
As reported by АрмЛур, for example, the President's salary will increase from 1,322,800 dram to 1,644,000 dram, while the Prime Minister's salary will also see an increase to 1,497,600 dram. The Deputy Prime Minister and the Secretary of the National Security Council will receive 1,289,600 dram. A Minister's salary will rise to 998,400 dram, up from the previous 793,680 dram, while the salary of an MP will increase to 830,200 dram from 661,400 dram. The President of the Constitutional Court will also see their salary rise from 1,058,240 dram to 1,331,200 dram.
