Leaders of CIS Countries to Meet in Late December: Kremlin
The informal meeting of the leaders of CIS countries will take place in St. Petersburg in late December. This was stated by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, as reported by РИА Новости.
He noted that there will also be other communications, "but perhaps this is the most significant event — the informal meeting of CIS leaders." Ushakov mentioned that the friendly summit will be held "according to established tradition."
It should be noted that the CIS member states include Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan.
