Fog, Closed and Difficult Roads: Situation on the Highways

In the Syunik region, from Shinuhayr to Halidzor, there is fog with visibility of 1-2 meters. This information was reported by the Road Department Foundation.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, roads leading from the 'Amberd' high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn region to Amberd Fortress and Kʼari Lake are closed.

There are closed and difficult roads in the Syunik region. The section of road from the village of Aghvani to Satan Bridge is completely closed to all types of vehicles, while there is black ice on the Upper Khotanan-Tatev road.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and difficult roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

In the Syunik region's high-altitude areas, as well as in the city of Goris and the section called Saravan-'Zanger', there is fog.

Snowfall is occurring in the Vardenyats Pass.

As for Lars, according to information from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Department and the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
