Casualties Reported in Aragatsotn Province Car Accident; Minor in Critical Condition

On December 8, at 18:16, the Aragatsotn provincial crisis management center received a report that an accident had occurred on the road to Berkarat village, resulting in casualties. Rescue assistance was required.

A firefighting team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' provincial rescue department was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a "VAZ-21010" vehicle (driver: N.A., born in 1992) collided with a parked "VAZ-21015" vehicle (driver: Z.M., born in 1989) at the 7th kilometer of the Tsaghkahovit-Berkarat highway, causing the road to become completely blocked in both directions.

Before the arrival of the rescuers, the drivers, as well as passengers of the "VAZ-21010": Gh.M. (born in 1994) and S.M. (born in 1974), and passengers of the "VAZ-21015": M.M. (born in 2007) and R.M. (born in 1983), were hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries at the Tsaghkahovit clinic and the Aparan medical center. Gh.M. and R.M. were transferred to the "Armenia" hospital in Yerevan, while S.M. was taken to the "Erebuni" medical center.

The health condition of Gh.M. and M.M. was assessed as critical, while R.M. and S.M. were classified as serious, and the drivers were deemed to have moderate injuries.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicles' batteries, closed the gas cylinder valves, and made the road one-way traffic.
