Xi Jinping is in Saudi Arabia: He Will Meet with Leaders of Arab Countries
The President of China, Xi Jinping, has arrived in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, to participate in the first China-Arab summit, as reported by China Central Television on Wednesday.
Earlier, Hua Chunying, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced that President Xi would be in Saudi Arabia for a state visit from December 7 to 10.
On Wednesday, Mao Ning, another spokesperson from the Ministry, stated that the first China-Arab summit would be of significant importance for the development of China-Arab relations.
In addition to the summit, Xi Jinping will also take part in the first summit of China and Gulf countries, as well as the Gulf Cooperation Council meeting that includes Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
