French Parliamentary Resolutions Do Not Contribute to the Peace Process Between Baku and Yerevan: Bayramov

French parliamentary resolutions harm Azerbaijan-France relations and do not contribute to the peace process between Baku and Yerevan. This was stated by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a meeting with the newly appointed French ambassador to Azerbaijan, Anne Bouillon.

According to a statement released by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bayramov emphasized that the biased opinions of the French side and the resolutions of the French parliament are detrimental to Azerbaijan-France relations and do not aid the peaceful process between Baku and Yerevan.

“Speaking about the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Jeyhun Bayramov informed Bouillon about the steps and initiatives taken by the Azerbaijani side to promote the aforementioned process,” the statement said. The Azerbaijani minister did not miss the opportunity to shift the blame onto others, highlighting provocations and threats from the Armenian side.
