Belarusian Authorities Plan to Introduce Death Penalty for Officials and Military Found Guilty of Treason

Belarusian authorities intend to introduce the death penalty for officials and military personnel convicted of treason, according to a statement on the Telegram channel of the National Assembly's House of Representatives. The corresponding draft law has been approved in the first reading by the deputies.

Earlier, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin stated that the West is training nationalist military formations in Ukraine that could be used to seize power in the republic.
