Vladimir Gasparyan's 20-Year-Old Daughter Decides to Engage in Politics

The daughter of former Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan, 20-year-old Angelina Gasparyan, has announced her decision to engage in politics. She organized a Q&A session with her followers on her Instagram story, which lasts for 24 hours, reports Armtimes.

One follower asked why she chose politics, to which Angelina responded: "Events in my life made me understand what I need. I started reading, watching videos, and felt that it interests me. I thought it was better to stay away from politics, but unfortunately, I am already a 'public figure' and widely discussed, and I see injustice in many things. I realized that I have that potential, strength, and self-confidence. Many people have been inspired by something."

Earlier, it was reported that according to the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia, facts were obtained that Vladimir Gasparyan's other daughter, Y. G., had not attended work for years, supported and colluded with former Deputy Chief of Police and Commander of Police Forces, Levon Yeranosyan. They allegedly used their official position to embezzle large amounts of property and misappropriated funds, receiving salaries, bonuses, and vacation pay that had been issued in their name for years between 2015 and 2018.

Recently, it became known that another daughter of former Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan, Anna Gasparyan, and her husband, Arthur Gevorgyan, have been summoned to the Asset Forfeiture Division of the General Prosecutor's Office on charges of possession of illegally obtained property.
