Air Temperature Expected to Decrease by 3-5 Degrees
On December 5, isolated areas of the republic will experience precipitation, with snowfall expected in mountainous regions, Lori, Tavush, and Syunik. Fog is also anticipated in some regions. From December 6-9, dry weather is expected.
The air temperature in Lori, Tavush, Syunik, and Artsakh will decrease by 3-5 degrees on December 4-5. This information was provided by the National Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring.
In Yerevan, dry weather is expected during the daytime of December 5 as well as from December 6-9. However, precipitation and fog are expected on the night of December 5.
In the upcoming night, temperatures in the capital will range from +1 to +3, while during the day, it will rise to +5 to +7.
Temperature forecasts for various regions are as follows:
- Shirak: night -2 to -7, day -2 to +2;
- Kotayk mountains: night -3 to -6, day -2 to +1;
- Kotayk foothills: night -2 to +1, day +1 to +4;
- Lake Sevan basin: night -3 to -8, day -2 to -4;
- Lori: night -4 to -8, day -2 to -5;
- Tavush: night -1 to -6, day -4 to +1;
- Aragatsotn mountains: night -4 to -7, day -2 to -5;
- Aragatsotn foothills: night -1 to +3, day +1 to +5;
- Ararat: night +1 to +3, day +5 to +8;
- Armavir: night 0 to +3, day +5 to +7;
- Vayots Dzor mountains: night -4 to -8, day -2 to -5;
- Vayots Dzor foothills: night 0 to +2, day +5 to +8;
- Syunik valleys: night 0 to -3, day 0 to +3;
- Syunik foothills: night -4 to -7, day 0 to -4;
- Artsakh: night -3 to +1, day 0 to +4.
