Macron Meets with Musk: President Shares Discussion Topics

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that he met with American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk on Friday. The two discussed the production of electric vehicles and batteries, as well as the protection of children online.

"I met with Elon Musk this afternoon, and we had a clear and honest discussion. He and I exchanged ideas on future industrial projects, such as electric vehicles and batteries, in line with France and Europe’s goals of decarbonization and re-industrialization," Macron wrote on his Twitter account.

According to Macron, collaboration with Twitter will also continue "to improve the protection of children on the internet." "Elon Musk confirmed this to me today," the President added.

President Macron is on an official visit to the United States from November 29 to December 2. On Thursday, he held talks with U.S. President Joe Biden at the White House.
