Attempt to Break Armenia's Only Connection with Artsakh: Artak Beglaryan
The actions of Azerbaijan on the Stepanakert-Goris highway are yet another provocation. This was stated by Artak Beglaryan, advisor to the Artsakh Prime Minister.
"It is evident that there is an attempt to break the only connection between Artsakh and Armenia. This connection is secured by the Russian peacekeeping forces, according to the trilateral agreements. Thus, Azerbaijan's actions are directly aimed at the 120,000 residents of Artsakh and the peacekeepers. I hope that road communication will be restored in the near future," Beglaryan wrote.
It is noteworthy that today a group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothes closed the Stepanakert-Goris highway under the pretext of environmental concerns.
