VIDEO: Another Show to Deceive the Diaspora - Naira Zohrabyan

Former MP Naira Zohrabyan has made a post on her Facebook page, which we present below:

“Another show to deceive the Diaspora. On November 24, the Armenia All-Armenian Fund, as part of another telethon, created a tear-jerking narrative about how, with donations from the Diaspora, two six-story buildings with 36 apartments were built under the fund's 'Our Gyumri' program. We all, along with the Diaspora, witnessed how on October 31, the happy residents of Gyumri, those who had not been included in any housing program over the past 34 years, received their house keys with tears in their eyes and prepared for a housewarming. But what happened after that could be worthy of a Fellini plot.

Several families who participated in the 'housewarming' show on October 31 approached me, asking not to release their names at this time, hoping that perhaps at some point they might actually receive homes. They reported that after filming the video, their keys were taken from them, and they were told that these were symbolic keys, and then sent back to their shanties, with a promise to call them later.

It turns out that not a single family has moved into those two buildings to this day; the caretakers of the buildings do not allow the 'owners' of the apartments to enter and film their 'homes', stating that the Armenia All-Armenian Fund has forbidden them to let people in. However, one of the family members who received a 'symbolic key' filmed and provided me with a video apparently showing that the two buildings, already 'fully occupied', are clearly uninhabited.

By the way, after watching the video of the happy Gyumri residents shown during the telethon on November 24, the Diaspora donated several million dollars, and under the 'Our Gyumri' program, two more seven-story buildings are being built in Gyumri. Who are they for is unclear.

Moreover, I am not writing this for the Armenian authorities. I am confident that they are well aware of this huge fraud. I simply want the board members of the Armenia All-Armenian Fund and our compatriots from the Diaspora to contact the 'happy' Gyumri residents who received keys in the video and try to help these people.

For now, that's all. And please, don't make unnecessary pretenses; go and quickly settle a couple of families, creating fake narratives with your personal telephones. Although, you are so morally corrupt that what is such a light bluff that you wouldn't do it? Have you made such bluffs before? In the video, you see the 'fully inhabited' empty buildings, and I have posted the report from the Armenia All-Armenian Fund about the happy Gyumri residents who came and received their keys. However, the final shot of the keys being taken back was not included in that idyllic report.”
