Fatal Fire in Shahumyan Village

On December 2, at 18:27, the Emergency Management Center of the Armavir region received a call reporting smoke coming from one of the houses on Abovyan Street in Shahumyan village, indicating that a person was inside. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting team from the regional rescue department of the Emergency Situations Ministry was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a fire had broken out in the bedroom of the house.

The fire was isolated at 18:45 and extinguished by 18:53. The bed and bedding were burnt. Rescuers discovered the body of A. M. (born 1955) in an adjacent room, who had succumbed to smoke inhalation.
