US Invests in EU Countries to Support Ukraine

An air alert has been declared across the entire territory of Ukraine once again. "The game will continue for a long time," wrote Russian political scientist and blogger Dmitry Nikotin.

He noted that the United States will invest in the defense industries of Bulgaria, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic so that they can produce more Soviet-caliber weapons and ammunition to support Ukraine.

Nikotin also wrote that the Pentagon announced a contract worth more than $1.2 billion with Raytheon for the purchase of NASAMS missile defense systems, which will be directed to Ukraine.

"The amount is huge; we need to look at the delivery timeframe. I believe it could take more than a year," Nikotin added.
