Civil Aviation Committee on Aircraft Crash in Kotayk: Flight Path Details Revealed
The Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia has issued a statement today regarding the private aircraft that crashed in the area of Jrarber village.
The statement is presented below:
“We inform you that on December 1st of this year, at 13:11 local time, contact was lost with a private BeechCraft 95 aircraft flying towards Yerevan-Astrakhan. At 14:20 local time, the aircraft was found crashed in the territory of Jrarber village in Kotayk province. The aircraft was carrying only crew members—two pilots—who did not survive the crash. Preliminary data collection is ongoing at the Civil Aviation Committee concerning the incident. Should additional information arise, the Committee will make a separate announcement.”
Auroranews contacted the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia to understand the nationality of the pilots. We were informed that they currently do not possess such information.
It is important to note that today, on December 1st, at 14:20, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a B55 type aircraft had crashed and caught fire in the area of Jrarber village, Kotayk province. Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene and discovered two charred bodies. The fire was extinguished at 14:41.
