Azerbaijan Ready to Provide Artsakh Armenians Rights Equivalent to Other Azerbaijani Citizens, Lavrov Says

Baku is prepared to grant the Armenians of Karabakh the same rights as other citizens of Azerbaijan, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

He emphasized that Armenian authorities have recently been "more focused on the rights of Armenians in Karabakh rather than their status."

"Azerbaijan is ready to provide the Armenians of Karabakh with guarantees of rights equivalent to those of other Azerbaijani citizens," he said.

Lavrov's press conference was broadcast on the Russian diplomatic service’s YouTube channel.
