Turkey Expects Concrete Steps from Sweden and Finland, Says Cavusoglu
Turkey still expects concrete steps from Sweden and Finland regarding the fight against terrorism. This was stated by Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
He recalled that he held a trilateral meeting with the foreign ministers of Sweden and Finland in Bucharest the previous day.
“We discussed the measures taken within the framework of the trilateral memorandum. We reiterated the expectations of the Turkish side once again. Sweden and Finland have taken some steps in line with their commitments. We do not overlook those steps. However, significant progress has not yet been achieved,” he added.
