Narishkin and the Head of the CIA Have Held Negotiations

The Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Narishkin, and the head of the CIA, William Burns, discussed issues related to nuclear security and the situation in Ukraine during negotiations held on November 14 in Ankara. Narishkin noted that one of the most frequently mentioned words during his meeting with the CIA director was 'Ukraine', according to Коммерсантъ.

"I can point out that the most frequently used words at this meeting were 'strategic stability', 'nuclear security', 'Ukraine', and 'Kyiv regime'," he stated.

Narishkin also confirmed the information from the U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Moscow, Elizabeth Rood, that there is a channel for discussing nuclear security issues between Russian and American intelligence services.
