Earthquake in Iran: What is known
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 has occurred in southern Iran. This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
The epicenter of the underground tremors was located 60 km away from the city of Bandar Lengeh in Iran and 88 km from Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE.
There is currently no information on possible casualties or damage.
