VIDEO: Ukrainian-made Shell Photos Surfaced Online
Photos and videos of Ukrainian-made 152 mm caliber munitions have surfaced online. The video was published by the state concern 'Ukroboronprom', while the photo was shared by well-known volunteer Yulia 'Tyra' Pavaiskaya. Reports Unian.
In the Ukroboronprom video, the leader of the Kozak system group, Ivan Leonov, is seen signing a new shell as part of the 'greet the occupier' flash mob. Tyra also appears to have participated in the same event.
At the beginning of November, Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov announced that Ukraine had established production of 122 mm and 152 mm Soviet artillery shells, as well as 120 mm mortar shells. According to the minister, these shells have already been tested. Ukraine does not plan to produce NATO-caliber shells, namely 155 mm. Mr. Reznikov expressed hope that the armed forces will continue to receive them from Western partners.
