PSG Owner Addresses Rumors of Selling the Club

The owner and president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, commented on the rumors suggesting that Qatar Sports Investments may sell the French club after the ongoing World Cup in Qatar, as reported by Armsport.am.

“I find this amusing, I don’t even know if it’s worth it for me to respond personally to this question. It seems like a joke to me, you know? This is just the beginning for QSI, PSG, and our entire project. We are planning to enter a second phase, where we will see incredible growth. The most interesting days for our team are still ahead of us,” said Al-Khelaifi.

“There is immense interest from investors regarding our team; this is fantastic. They are looking for small stakes, and we are very open in our discussions. In those conversations, the club's valuation exceeds 4 billion euros. Our goal is not to sell the team; this is simply a market valuation. It’s incredible. We have built the brand and the business from scratch, and now we are seeing the results of our work. Remember, this is just the beginning; our project is ambitious and long-term,” Al-Khelaifi told Marca.
