The Mexican professional boxer and reigning undisputed champion, Saul Alvarez, has made another statement regarding Argentine forward Leo Messi.

“Let him pray that I don’t find him,” Alvarez wrote on his Twitter account.

Recall that during the World Cup 2022 match between Argentina and Mexico (2-0), Messi exchanged jerseys with one of the competitors. Following this, a video circulated online from the Argentine locker room showing Messi tossing the Mexican jersey on the ground and subsequently kicking it. This situation angered Alvarez, who stated that Messi had "cleaned the floor with the Mexico national team's jersey and flag."
