Photos: Lukashenko Bids Farewell to Foreign Minister Makei

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has bid farewell to the late Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei. As reported by mk.ru, footage from the farewell ceremony has been published online. The photographs show the president bringing a bouquet of dark red roses.

Lukashenko walked to the ceremony from his residence. Vladimir Makei passed away on November 26 at the age of 64. He had been leading the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2012 and previously headed the office of the President of the Republic.

According to media sources, Makei died of a heart attack at his home in Drozdy.
