Former Deputy Head of Kherson Arrested
The former deputy head of Kherson, Vladimir Pepel, has been arrested on suspicion of collaborating with Russia, according to reports from РИА Новости citing Ukraine's State Bureau of Investigation.
“Vladimir Pepel is suspected of cooperating with Russian forces during the occupation of Kherson. He is currently in custody,” the statement said.
Earlier, Roman Dudyn, the former head of the Kharkiv regional office of Ukraine's Security Service, was also arrested. Dudyn is suspected of treason. The publication highlights that the arrest took place in one of the regions in western Ukraine.
