We Don't Want PCR Tests, We Want Freedom: Mass Protests in Beijing

Mass protests against restrictive measures implemented by the Chinese authorities to combat the coronavirus continue in Beijing and numerous other cities across the country.

In Beijing, protesters took to the streets holding white sheets of paper as a symbol of their opposition to censorship in the country. People shouted, "Lift the quarantine" and "We don't want PCR tests, we want freedom." The police were involved, and the exact number of those detained is unknown.

Protests have also been held in other cities in China, including Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuhan, and Nanjing.
