Video: Airplane Gets Entangled in Power Lines in the U.S., Leaving 120,000 Without Electricity

In the U.S., a pilot and a passenger were successfully rescued after spending seven hours at a height of 30 meters following their plane's collision with power lines. This was reported by Sky News.

The incident occurred on Sunday at 5:40 PM local time at an aviation park in Montgomery County, Gaithersburg, Maryland. It is noted that by around 11:30 PM, rescuers managed to conduct an 'electrical ground' for the aircraft. Shortly after midnight, the two men were safely brought down from the plane.

The incident left 120,000 people without electricity. The head of the fire department reported that Patrick Merkle, 65, and Ian Williams, 66, sustained serious injuries following the crash, and both experienced hypothermia.

The cause of the aviation accident is currently unknown, and an investigation is underway.
