Bayraktars to be Manufactured in Ukraine: Erdoğan Sets Timelines

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has announced when the production of the Bayraktar Kızılelma unmanned combat aerial vehicle will begin, as reported by Anadolu. “The serial production of the Kızılelma domestic unmanned combat aircraft will start at the end of 2023,” the Turkish leader stated.

The Bayraktar Kızılelma, equipped with a jet engine, was first introduced in August 2022 in the city of Samsun. It was showcased at the Teknofest Karadeniz aerospace festival.

Subsequently, the CEO of the production company, Haluk Bayraktar, mentioned that they plan to manufacture the aircraft at a factory being built in Ukraine.
