When Will the Artsakh-Yerevan Inter-Parliamentary Meeting Take Place? "Hraparak"

"Hraparak" newspaper reports: "On August 26 of this year, the President of the National Assembly of Artsakh, Artur Toghmasyan, held a consultation meeting with the participation of faction leaders, committee chairs, and responsible personnel, announcing that an inter-parliamentary meeting between Artsakh and Armenia would be held in the second half of September.

September passed, October too, but the inter-parliamentary meeting has not been convened, despite the promises made to the Artsakh parliament by their Armenian counterparts. We learned that due to the wartime situation on September 13, Armenian legislators suggested postponing the agreement and holding the meeting later, yet there has been no movement on this front until now.

It is worth mentioning that since the war, the Artsakh-Armenia inter-parliamentary commission has not functioned, despite the efforts of the opposition and people from Artsakh to establish it. The representatives from the ruling party have not formed the commission since the 2021 elections and continue to evade its establishment and the convening of meetings."

Details in today’s issue of the newspaper.
