Ukraine Bans Export of Firewood

The Ukrainian government has made a decision to ban the export of firewood. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal.

"The government has decided to prohibit the export of firewood," Shmyhal stated on his Telegram channel.

The Prime Minister explained such a decision was necessary to accumulate firewood as a primary resource for heating, especially in regions close to active conflict zones.

Shmyhal also noted on his Telegram channel that there are no thermal and hydroelectric power plants left in the country that have not yet been attacked.
