Former Prosecutor Davtyan Makes Unexpected Offer to Artsakh Authorities
According to the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, former Chief Prosecutor Arthur Davtyan is still unemployed. The newspaper has learned from its well-informed sources that during a meeting with the authorities of Artsakh, Davtyan expressed his readiness to serve in the region. This means that the former prosecutor is willing to change his place of residence permanently and move to Artsakh.
However, at this point, it is still unclear where Arthur Davtyan's legal expertise can be utilized. It remains to be seen whether Davtyan's offer will be accepted and if he will be assigned a position in Artsakh.
"Zhoghovurd" attempted to get a comment from Arthur Davtyan on this matter, but he persistently did not respond to our messages.
It is noteworthy that earlier this month, businessman Ruben Vardanyan was appointed as the State Minister of Artsakh, and he will manage the entire government, except for the security sector, from Stepanakert. The control over the security forces remains under the supervision of Artsakh Republic President Araik Harutyunyan.
