Electricity Supply in Kyiv to Resume for 2-3 Hours

Electricity in Kyiv will be restored for two to three hours, announced Dmitry Sakharuk, the CEO of the Ukrainian DTEK energy company, according to РИА Новости.

"We will gradually start to change, we will provide electricity for two to three hours until the amount of energy coming to Kyiv increases," Sakharuk stated during a live broadcast of the Ukrainian news marathon.

Sakharuk also confirmed the information from the city military administration of Ukraine's capital, which stated that 70% of the residential buildings in Kyiv are currently without electricity.
