Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Claims Armenia Used Lachin Corridor for Military Purposes

“The mines discovered in the northern direction indicate that Armenia has used the Lachin corridor for military operations,” reads a statement from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“This once again demonstrates that Armenia is obstructing the settlement process and efforts to establish peace in the region. This activity by Armenia is a gross violation of the commitments undertaken by Armenia within the framework of the trilateral statement,” the message from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs states.
