Spain Sends 7 Unanswered Goals Past Costa Rica
The first round match between Spain and Costa Rica in the group stage of the World Cup held in Qatar has concluded. The match, which took place at Doha's Al Thumama Stadium, ended with a resounding victory for the Spanish players, with a score of 7-0.
Goals were scored by Dani Olmo, Marco Asensio, Ferran Torres (twice), Gavi, Carlos Soler, and Álvaro Morata for the Spanish national team.
The World Cup began on November 20 and will continue until December 18. In Group E, the Spaniards will also face Japan and Germany, who have already played against each other, with the Japanese emerging victorious with a score of 2-1.
As a result, Spain tops the group standings, having outscored Japan.
