24 Documents Expected to Be Signed at CSTO Meeting

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ararat Mirzoyan, anticipates that during the joint meeting of the foreign ministers, defense ministers, and secretaries of the security councils of the member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), they will be able to analyze and assess the current state of international and regional security through an open and constructive exchange of ideas. In light of this, they will weigh possible risks for CSTO countries.

“The agenda is quite full; a wide range of issues will be discussed, both political and security-related,” Mirzoyan stated, as reported by Armenpress. He also introduced all participants of the CSTO joint meeting. “I warmly welcome everyone and wish us all fruitful work,” Mirzoyan concluded.

CSTO Secretary-General Stanislav Zas, in turn, presented the agenda of the meeting. “First, we will discuss the issues of military-political security of CSTO countries, then I will provide information regarding the 24 documents that have already been drafted and coordinated, and these will be presented to you for discussion. As a result, 24 documents are expected to be signed,” Zas said.
