The Health of University of Economics Students Deteriorates: What is Happening?
On November 22, at 10:30 AM, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report that students at the Yerevan branch of the Armenian State University of Economics, located at 77 Paruir Sevak Street, were feeling unwell. A strange odor had been detected in the building. Emergency assistance was required.
Two firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Emergency Rescue Department in Yerevan, along with a group of chemical reconnaissance experts from the Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Monitoring Division of the Population Protection and Disaster Risk Reduction Department, were sent to the scene.
Before rescuers arrived, approximately 400 students and 35 faculty members had been evacuated.
