Russian TV Channels Release New Footage of Execution of Russian POWs
Russian television channels have released new footage that allegedly shows the execution of Russian prisoners of war (POWs) by Ukrainian soldiers. Details regarding when and where the video was filmed remain undisclosed. Officially, both the Russian and Ukrainian authorities have yet to comment on this footage.
Recall that Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, stated that Moscow would investigate the execution of Russian POWs in Donbas.
On November 18, videos began circulating online depicting the bodies of Russian soldiers shot by the Ukrainian armed forces. “Russia will do everything within international mechanisms to draw attention to this crime and bring to order those who may be involved in it. And, of course, Russia itself will seek out those who committed this crime. They must be found and punished,” emphasized the Kremlin spokesman. He also added that Russia might turn to international bodies if it considers them effective.
