Three Police Employees to be Dismissed from Service, One to Receive a Warning
On November 18, a regular session of the police disciplinary committee was held, chaired by the Deputy Chief of Police, Major General Aram Hovhannisyan. Attendees included the head of the police headquarters, heads of the public security assurance, internal security, and legal departments, as well as representatives of public organizations participating in the police disciplinary committee.
The materials and conclusions of the service investigation conducted against four police employees were reviewed and discussed. After analyzing the factual circumstances, the committee decided to appeal to the Chief of Police to apply the disciplinary sanction of 'Dismissal from Police Service' to three officers, while one officer will receive a 'Warning.'
It is noteworthy that today, November 21, the parents of victims of violence in 'Erebuni' are holding a protest outside the Investigative Committee's office.
