Erdogan Accuses Moscow: 'If Agreements Are Not Honored, We Will Take Necessary Actions Ourselves'

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan considers Moscow's failure to fulfill agreements as the cause for Turkey's bombings in Syria. He stated, 'Unfortunately, despite numerous reminders from the Turkish side, these obligations have not been fulfilled. They are not being fulfilled, and they cannot be fulfilled. In response, we declare that if the agreements are not honored, we will take necessary actions ourselves against the terrorists. This is related to the strikes on 12 terrorist targets in Syria's Kuban that were carried out the day before. This is part of actions that will continue.'

This statement was made by Erdogan during a conversation with journalists accompanying him at the opening of the World Cup in Qatar. It is noteworthy that Turkey has bombed residential areas in northeastern Syria.
