VIDEO: The Bodies of Our Children Were Next to the Cars, There Was No Trench for Protection: Should the Army Commander Dig

The issue concerning the boys from Tsor is related to the second incident. This was stated today by Lieutenant General Jalal Harutyunyan's lawyer Arsen Sardarjan during a press conference, responding to a question about whether the relatives of the boys from Tsor have once again testified against Jalal Harutyunyan, and whether this means that the list of those giving testimony is known.

Sardarjan noted that any information circulating is taken and circulated by the parents of the boys. "They received it from somewhere, and out of their experiences, they repeat it," he said.

He emphasized that there is a painful picture in the second incident, where several soldiers found themselves in a virtually defenseless state. "But, is the commander of the army responsible for organizing the division's defense? Of course not. The division command should have carried it out properly," pointed out the lawyer.

He reported that some of the division commanders, who were at a lookout point one kilometer away from the positioning of the batteries, heard the enemy's conversation and understood that it was the enemy. "Now the question is, if you hear the conversations, why not use that time to direct the artillery to fire at that enemy one kilometer away? Instead, they declared an alarm and began to flee chaotically. There was no trench for the boys to take refuge in; the bodies of the boys were beside the cars. Should they have dug a trench?" he questioned.
